❓ Give us your elevator pitch
I’m a Los Angeles-based artist, DJ, and composer blending electronic music, cinematic storytelling, and sound design into immersive sonic experiences.
❓ How would you describe your creative process?
“For me, it usually starts with a feeling or an atmosphere. I believe that the sound you create can often dictate the notes you play. Whether I’m working on a standalone track, a score, or a sound design project, I try to tune into the emotional core first by creating a sound palette. I’ll often build textures or rhythms before thinking about structure — it’s about creating a space you want to inhabit. From there, it’s a dance between intuition and refinement — laying down ideas quickly, then stepping back to shape them more intentionally.”
❓ What inspired your move from live performance into composing for media?
“It actually felt like less of a move and more of a natural expansion. Performing taught me how to build tension and emotion over time, and producing taught me how to craft sonic identities. Scoring for film and media lets me take those instincts and apply them in service of a story — creating emotional impact without needing to be the center of attention. I love that shift..”
❓ You’ve worked across electronic music, sound design, and film — how do you balance those different worlds?
“At the heart of it, it’s all storytelling through sound. Whether it’s a four-minute track or a film score, the goal is to move people. I think having a background across all those areas keeps me versatile — I can think rhythmically, texturally, or melodically depending on what the project needs. And honestly, moving between different disciplines keeps me creatively fresh.”
❓ You are now based in Los Angeles. What has living in working there taught you?
“I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the biggest teams led by legendary composers. While composing may appear like a solitary task, it’s actually a collaborative endeavor. Over the past year, I’ve collaborated with other composers and sound designers to not only enhance my own production but also contribute to their teams and acquire some essential skills.”
❓ What are you currently working on?
“I’ve been working on synchronizing music for Spheretrax in the UK for the past few years. I’m also collaborating with BMG in the US. I’ve had a lot of fun composing music for imaginary scenarios and then seeing how directors and editors incorporate it into their projects. I’m about to release a software instrument based on some of my custom hardware synthesizer sounds. I’m also wrapping up a TV pilot that I co-composed.”
